Welcome to the story that has become our dream come true. 

We are Bryan and Shelly Dews, proud owners of The White Barn Venue. Our journey begins with the history of our family farm—a place filled with memories and meaning that we hold close to our hearts.

The farm was purchased in 1974 by Bryan’s parents, Harry and Virginia Dews. For years it thrived as a cattle farm before transitioning to crops in the early 80s. The original barn, built in the early 1900s, stood quietly for decades. Weathered and worn, it still held a timeless beauty, and Bryan always dreamed of restoring it to its former glory.

In 2016, we purchased the farm with a shared vision: to touch others’ lives and share the joy, love, and warmth this land had given our family. It is a blessing to carry this legacy forward with our children and grandchildren.  After a year of thoughtful restoration with skilled Amish builders, the barn was brought back to life—its early‑1900s charm preserved, its character honored. The White Barn Venue emerged as a one‑of‑a‑kind space where rustic beauty meets elegant romance.

Today, it brings happiness to couples, their families, and their guests as they celebrate love and create memories that last a lifetime. We are passionate about family, connection, and the relationships formed here—moments we treasure deeply.
