Welcome to our wonderful story and dream come true! 

We are Bryan and Shelly Dews, the proud owners of The White Barn Venue.  Our story begins with the history of our family farm, one that we hold dear to our hearts today.

The farm was purchased in 1974 by Bryan’s parents Harry and Virginia Dews.  It was a working cattle farm up until the early 80s, and then became a farm for crops.  The old barn original to the farm was built in the early 1900’s and sat along with the grounds untouched for two decades, but even in its disarray Bryan’s vision was to make it grand again.

In 2016 Bryan and Shelly purchased the farm with a dream to touch others’ lives and share the happiness and love that it had brought to so many over the years while cherishing the family legacy.  We are so blessed to carry that legacy to the next generations with our children and grandchildren.

After a year with Amish builders doing renovations to restore the barn back to its early 1900’s charm while keeping the barn true to its character, The White Barn Venue became a unique, one-of-a-kind rustic yet elegant venue.  It now brings happiness to couples, their families, and guests as they experience

and share their Wedding Day with the ones they love, creating memories that will last a lifetime.  We are passionate about love, families, hosting, and relationships we build together at The White Barn Venue that will be treasured.
